When my dear Dad passed at home, I called Them and at my request they came straight out within the hour, even though it was almost midnight. They were absolutely amazing, treating my dad with the upmost dignity and respect, as well as empathetically explaining what was happening and what to expect over the coming days. The whole process was dealt with in such a professional and understanding manner, nothing was to much and I was never rushed. All the small things that are easy to forget at an overwhelming time like a bereavement were taken care of, even in my case the flowers (Thank you Amanda). They also arranged to scatter the ashes weeks later in my absence, personally done by Mitch. Very caring, considerate and transparent. Whilst grieving a huge loss, Edith Blanche was there. Explaining the process of the unknown during a highly stressful and difficult time. They were especially understanding and respectful, on how agile we had to be on the day in regards to a close family member suffering with Alzheimer’s. They thought ahead for us, so all we had to do was have the answers (without feeling pressured) when needed on the finer details and personalisations to the service and send off. We had met with other directors, as the decision of who our beloved was in care of was very important to us.
